GIIS students excel in CBSE-i and CBSE Class 10 exams 2015

  • CBSE examination: GIIS Queenstown Campus, Singapore secures an outstanding School CGPA of 9.2

GIIS students from Queenstown Campus and East Coast Campus in Singapore have achieved excellent results in the CBSE and CBSE-i Class 10 exams 2015.

Mr Rajiv Vasudeva, Country Director - Singapore, Global Indian International School, praised students and teachers on the results in his congratulatory message. “We are delighted with the outstanding results achieved by our CBSE and CBSE-i Class 10 of 2015. GIIS Queenstown Campus, Singapore

At GIIS Queenstown Campus, 26% students scored a perfect Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 10 in the CBSE examination 2015. The entire student cohort excelled in Class 10 exams, as the school secured an outstanding CGPA of 9.2.

“I am extremely proud of the achievements of our students - they wanted to do well and deserve this success - they worked hard and were ably supported by determined teachers,” expressed Ms Madhu Khanna, Principal, GIIS Queenstown Campus. Reinforcing success of students, Ms Khanna said, “We have 23 toppers who scored a perfect 10 in CBSE Class 10 exams. Class 10 is the first milestone in students’ academic life and they all have secured marvellous scores.”

GIIS East Coast Campus, Singapore

Students from GIIS East Coast Campus also achieved remarkable results in the CBSE-i Class 10 exams held in 2015, with 57% students scoring perfect CGPA 10 and a record school Grade Point Average (GPA) of 9.7.

GIIS East Coast Campus Principal, Ms Melissa Maria, added: “The excellent CBSE-i Class 10 results are a credit to the talented and hardworking learners we have at GIIS, and a tribute to the efforts and support of our teachers. We are all extremely proud of our students. As always, this is a day of great celebration for our students and staff who have worked very hard throughout the year to produce another set of extremely impressive results.”
