More than 90 students of GIIS East Coast Campus participated in the World-in-Singapore Concert IV ‘An Electric Nexus’- held at the University Cultural Centre Hall in end 2011. The World-in-Singapore Concert had high energy music and dance extravaganza attached on themes like social consciousness, doing good for/in our World and caring for the planet. The students of GIIS East Coast Campus performed an Indo-Western symphony “Light! Oh My Light!” by Rabindranath Tagore. The dance troop performed an exceptional dance fusion of two dance forms - Bharathanatyam, representing South India and Kathak, representing North India - both of which were interwoven into the Peacock Dance.
