"Fest" or "carnival" is the term used for a gathering to celebrate. GIIS, Uppal campus has organized "Fungama@GIIS" on 10th and 11th December, 2011. The main objective of this event is to make the parents aware of the happenings in the school. An exhibition was also a part of the "Fest" where the children from preprimary level to grade IX exhibited their projects and their talents before their parents. Some of the main attractions of this fest were "Kaun banega" ?.................. , Fun games for the parents, rides for the children (camel and horse), food fiesta etc. There was a huge crowd enjoying in the wide campus.
