"Healthy body lies in healthy mind". "Sports" is an integrated part of GIIS curriculum. It not only builds up physique, but inculcates certain skills like leadership, team building, emphathetic nature, sportsman ship etc. The second Annual Sports Meet was held at our campus on 4th February, 2012. The chief guest Mr. Narasiah garu who is the Director for A.P. sports declared the opening of Second Annual Sports Meet. The torch was lit by the Sports Captain. Birthday drill was opened by the tiny tots of Nursery and KGI followed by the fungames of Primary chidlren and drills of the other classes. Fun games were not only organised for the children but also to the parents and grandparents . The winners recieved their prizes from the Chief Guest. It was a spectacular show and the crowd appreciated the team work of the students, teachers and the staff of GIIS.
