Students of Kindergarten 2, classes 5 and 8 of GIIS Tokyo Campus, celebrated their Graduation Ceremony on 26 March 2016 in the school auditorium. Mr Masakazu Toyoda, Chairman and CEO of the Institute of Energy Economics (IEE) Japan, was the guest of honour for the occasion. He handed out the scrolls of honour to graduating students. In attendance for the occasion was Ambassador Aftab Seth as well.

The programme commenced with the felicitation of the guest of honour. Kindergarten 1 students performed on various songs. The young graduates looked charming in their graduation robes. Kindergarten 2 students also sang beautiful songs.

Students of classes 5A, 5B and 8 sang songs in celebration of their academic achievements. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the performances put forth by the students. Mr Toyoda congratulated all the young graduates. He also praised the school and its teachers for their efforts in enabling the academic success of their students. Ms Rajeswary Sambathrajan, Principal, GIIS Tokyo Campus was also present for the occasion.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, which was followed by the rendition of the Indian National Anthem by the audience.
