Brown signifies stability, reliability, and approachability. It is also associated with the ‘Earth’ and all things obtained in their natural form. So, to divulge in the goodness of ‘Brown’ and learn about all things associated with the colour, the pre-primary section students celebrated ‘Brown Day’. The students were amazed to see a little experiment by their teachers wherein paint colours of red and black were mixed to obtain Brown.

The days celebrated at Global Indian International School, hold a lot of importance in terms of themes and activities attached with them. Every day celebrated has a moral in it and sensitises students of nature, environment, health, happiness, respect, etc.

So, learning something from the colour ‘Brown’, the pre-primary segment conducted an array of activities revolving around this colour. All the classrooms were decorated with Brown objects and wall hangings. Brown also being the colour of the month, the students packed brown coloured snacks in their tiffin boxes. Later, they were taken out for a nature walk in the school campus, where they were shown mud, twigs, stems, dried leaves, etc. The Brown Day revolved around not only the colour but also nature.
