Role playing, dressing up and enacting their favourite characters, children admire this all. Looking back, nostalgia grips us all, while reckoning the days when we as children adorned a garb of a famous cartoon character or any Bollywood actor! Dressing up like someone we look up to, is like an occasion to cherish and revere for a lifetime and it leaves with us the innate talents of the person we idolise.

Global Indian International School Surat, organised Funny Dress competition for students of pre-primary segment, last week. This activity was a bit different from the usual ‘dressing up as your favourite character’, wherein, the students had to dress up funny and also speak a few lines before the audience. This surely instilled in the kindergarteners the confidence and a chance to explore their wittiest best. The little participants got a chance to interpret funny characters they admire and they managed to impress all in the audience with their enactment. Of course we also extend our appreciation to the parents who took the effort and the interest in the wards’ participation.

A few interesting funnily dressed participants stole the show with one student who was half dressed as a boy and half as a girl, another dressed as a funny spiderman, some dressed as cartoon characters while a few were dressed in a complete mismatch attire with different shoes!
