Peace Day
To commemorate Peace day the little ones learned to make white flowers. They learnt to associate white and flowers with peace and beauty. Also, the folding of the paper helped in development of fine motor skills.
Green Day
The little ones were shown all things that are green. They were dressed in green and learned to relate various shades of green to leaves, grass and vegetables and the greenery around. Learning becomes easier through visual cues to objects around.
Independence Day
Using the colours of the Indian flag, various activities were conducted for the little ones on Independence Day. The children learnt to relate the combination of ‘Tricolour’ concept to the occasion. The impression of this activity on their young minds would connect their thoughts in the form of subconscious links, as they grow up to the spirit of patriotism. |
