Exhibition on students co-curricular activities receive tremendous response

The end of academic yr 2022-23

Students of CBSE Grade 7 and 8 made presentations of the various co-curricular activities they engage in – like debating, aerobics, music – in a day long exhibition at Queenstown auditorium, which received appreciation and good wishes from parents, teachers and peers.

The students from GIIS Queenstown familiarized the assembled audience with a variety of activities offered under CCA conducted on a weekly basis. Besides debating, aerobics and music, there were presentations on Art of Beading, Explorers club, a model United Nations, and structure set up activity etc. Each presentation was followed by learning outcomes of the activity.

CCA activities, conducted under the guidance of teachers and mentors, help students acquire skill sets that make them practical, energetic, imaginative and facilitate their holistic development, which is a hallmark of GIIS’s 9GEMS framework.  The activities also help students discover their talents and interests.

“CCA is so much fun,” said a group of smiling Grade 7 students in unison, while manning an art stall displaying the fascinating products and paintings created by them.

The exhibition was followed by a gala stage show which was well received by the audience.
