A year’s hard work and toil have just yielded up for you, good results and a deep sense of satisfaction.

An approximate time of a fortnight awaits your optimal use before you again dive into work that is surely going to get more and more hectic as days go by. How do you make good use of this gift?

A wonderful vision opens up of chilling out with friends if you are old enough to look after yourself  or of spending time with your grandparents of whom you may be very fond; calling cousins over for a week to your place and so on.

Think in equal measure also about how you could be more useful around your home.

What about helping with the sprucing up of your own space and readying it for the new session like sorting  out your books?

What about expressing your thoughts after you have read your favourite book? What did you learn? Did the author prompt any new thoughts in your mind? Take your pen up and write down who knows there may be a dormant writer waiting to spread his/her wings!

Connect with your immediate community. Take up teaching underprivileged children who may be children of immediate service providers around you.

So learn new crafts, look around and surf the net to find out more about what new initiatives are being taken up by the Govt. What new avenues will they open up in the near future? What will the world of these new opportunities mean for you when you are out into the world of higher studies and the university.

By the time you have involved and learned a little from your exploration of other things to do, it is time to get a crisp new set of books and note books. What can be better than to go through the new books to understand what new things these books contain.

Don’t forget to cover the new books with a lot of love and care with proper labelling. Get your summer uniforms out and see if you are still fitting into them.
