Farm is a place where magic prevails. Magic for the little eyes and hands paving a way to little smiles on face. Fruits and vegetables to eat, animals inhibiting to greet, farm is place that makes everyone happy.

In open fields, farm has trees, shrubs, herbs and climbers, especially the plants meant for the wholesale trade. Farm also grows plants in green houses, designed to protect young plants from harsh weather and allow access to light and ventilation for the plants to grow and nurture.

To sensitize tiny tots of the campus, Global Indian International School (GIIS), Noida organized a farm visit to a nearby farm. The visiting activity was spread over two days, with an aim of providing our tiny tots with a closer view of the plants, right from the place they come. Our little stars enjoyed the trip to the fullest as they were delighted to see the plants of different types, sizes and colours.

Plants like Bonsai and Lotus caught their eyes making them interested in function of these plants and what all they can do to take care of them. They even got a chance to see saplings present in the greenhouse, which later on bloom into beautiful plants and trees.

At last, children were also sensitized about various plants they can grow and what measures they can take to ensure greenery all around. The objective was to make them familiar with the flora and fauna they live in, and understand the importance of planting more and more trees for the betterment of the environment.

The show was concluded with the National Anthem.
