Ever thought why we celebrate Graduation day for K2 students every year? It’s because every child’s success is special for us, so much that we all at GIIS Noida never miss a chance to make our little stars feel that they doing great in life.

Continuing with yearly traditions, Graduation day for the current batch of Kindergarten students was conducted in the school premises with a lot of excitement and emotions. The day started with parents pouring in to see their young ones dressed up with special badges created by their class teachers.

The stage was set to bid adieu to our little graduates as they moved to the primary school with all the knowledge and wisdom taught to them throughout the year. As the ceremony began, students from all the K2 sections were felicitated with rolls of honour by Mr. Rajeev Katyal – Country Head, GIIS India & Japan, Ms. Nandita Dasgupta – Principal, GIIS Noida, and Ms. Rachna Jain – Pre-Primary Coordinator.

All set to say their final goodbye, each section of students presented a heartfelt rhyme dedicated to their class teachers. Not missing out on the very last opportunity, teachers too expressed their love towards their children, whom they have in a way brought up for a year. After all, a teacher is a second mother to children of such a tender age.

Speaking on the joyous occasion, Mr. Katyal spoke about parenthood and how it gets evolved through the years of a child’s upbringing. Further adding to his thoughts, he even shared the happiness parents go through when their little one graduates in life, achieving one milestone after another. As a child grows up in life, his/her need of parents change from time to time. As they evolve they understand and absorb so much around them, which ultimately makes them a powerful human being capable of bringing a positive change around them.

Ms. Nandita Dasgupta shared her views on how children are developing rapidly and pick up every little information around them. We need to make sure that children of today are brought up with utmost care and responsibility, and channelize their energies in the right direction. What they see in their surroundings, becomes a part of their personalities. So, it becomes all the more important to teach them the right things in the right environment.

Lastly, taking over the stage to pay the vote of thanks, Ms. Rachna Jain congratulated all the K2 parents on this special achievement of their little one. Adding to her thoughts she said –“It’s a blessing for teachers to teach these little kids and bestow them with great values which contribute to their personality to a great extent. They fill our days with so much of love, life, laughter and so much pride. For us, these are magical years which are never going to come back.”

Graduation is an exciting time. It’s both ending and a beginning for our little ones and teachers. With the memories of the last session, ready to make new ones, all the pre-primary staff of GIIS Noida wishes our little graduates a great future ahead.
