In October 2008, there was an air of excited anticipation as students of Stds. VI to IX set out for a three-day Outward Bound Camp at Semeniyeh. The camp situated around a picturesque lake amidst dense tropical forest gave the 100 students a chance live in a camp in the wilderness. They got a chance to go trekking, learn kayaking and take on the obstacle course. They enjoyed the thrilling experience of the flying fox across the lake. The students visited a government nursery for ornamental plants and an ostrich farm where they witnessed an ostrich chick emerge from an egg. One day was spent hiking up to a waterfall to bathe in a stream and have a picnic lunch at the magnificent planned city of Putrajaya. There were many memorable moments for the students of this trip. A tired but happy bunch returned to school on 7th October.
