Hindi is one of the most popular languages in the world and Hindi Diwas is celebrated not only in India but in other parts of the world as well.

Prize winner of Essay Writing Competition |
The Indian Cultural Centre, Kuala Lumpur celebrated Hindi Diwas in collaboration with three other international schools on 17th October 2015 to honour and pay tribute to Hindi language.
On this occasion, many different competitions were organized which saw students from various schools participating enthusiastically. Students from GIIS, KL under the able guidance of our well-trained language teachers, participated in the poem recitation, essay writing and debate competition and won prizes at various levels. Winners from the preliminary round which was held at our school campus got to compete with students from other international schools namely Vikas International School and Tanarata school for the final rounds which was held at ICC.
The event also had our school students Sukriti Sharma, Mihika Yadav and Aditi Bhatt of Grade 10 presenting an a video presentation on Hindi Diwas for the audience.

The Indian Deputy High Commissioner, Shri. Nikhilesh Chandra Giri presented awards to the winners. All participants received their participation certificates.
This event helped students to explore their linguistic skills in Hindi congealed in different hues and flavors and also motivated them to respect their mother tongue.
