Global Indian International School (GIIS)  GMP Kindergarten Malaysia conducted a month long project “Appreciate and Honour our Grandparents.”

Teachers spoke to the children about the importance of loving and caring for their grandparents.

Children carried out some fun activities in the class. They made cards for their Grandparents and parents were encouraged to help their children post the cards.

The KG 2 children were encouraged to make a “Family Tree” chart and share about their grandparents at the class Show & Tell activity. Children shared how much they loved their grandparents and also talked about the attention they get from their grandparents. Some even talked about how they spent their time with their grandparents during the school holidays.

Apart from this, the teachers made large collage of all the KG grandparents’ photographs. The photos were put up in the Bulletin Board.
