To mark a significant beginning of the new academic year 2017-18, Global Indian International School (GIIS), Indore conducted Investiture Ceremony in campus to induct and introduced the newly elected student council of the school.

Investiture ceremony is one of the most coveted events in an academic year of the school. Like every year, this year too student council was selected through an election process where each student casted their vote to support their choicest candidate. Mr. Bhalchandra Dattatray Mondhe - famous Indian artist, sculptor and photographer graced the occasion along with Mr. Hemant Suri and Mr. Sumit Suri (Infrastructure Partners) with their esteemed presence.

Post the lamp lighting ceremony, investiture ceremony formalities began with complete enthusiasm and zeal. Dr. (Capt.) Dinisha Bhardawaj Singh - Principal, GIIS Indore honoured our young leaders with badges and roll of honour followed by the oath taking ceremony. Each candidate elected swore to work towards the welfare of the school, making it a better place for students and teachers both. They took an oath to abide by all the rules and regulations and work towards making the school a place of holy worship for one and all.

Speaking to the audience, Mr. Hemant Suri discussed the importance of leadership skills among students. Adding to his thoughts, Dr. (Capt.) Dinish Bhardawaj motivated the young leaders to perform with best of their capabilities and efforts, and also congratulated them for their assiduous work.

Parents of the elected students along with academic scholars were also a part of the event. What else can be more glorious for a parent than to witness their child being honoured for the extra ordinary work they have done throughout the year. Each academic scholar was also congratulated and honoured for their meritorious endeavour in academics by the guests of honour.
