As a part of the schools Student Exchange Programme, 22 students with 3 teachers visited GIIS East Coast Campus on July 31, 2012. The student visitors were from Daolin Secondary and Primary School, China. The students were given a traditional welcome followed by a line up of activities starting with the junior assembly. Then it was time for some light moments! The students had lots of fun with some popular Bollywood music, integrating fun with the lively beats and dance moves. They were very sportive and tried out some dance steps too. Next it was a music class with Ms Rakhi in the keyboard room. The students enjoyed themselves and even tried their hand at playing few instruments. Later, the student visitors participated in some interesting classroom activities.

It was an opportunity with invaluable rewards giving the students confidence, communication, cultural adaptation and international understanding – from which they will benefit for years to come.
