Global HUES, KG Annual Day GIIS Dubai - A Roaring Success

A day much awaited was welcomed with great enthusiasm by everyone at GIIS Dubai. The celebrations began on a spiritual note, with recitation of verses from the Holy Koran, followed by the UAE and Indian National Anthems. Principal Ramesh Mudgal extended his warm welcome to the special guests, including Officials from the Ministry of Labour, Emirate of Dubai, and the parents. He then highlighted the achievements of the students and school in such a short span and shared with all the vision for the year 2018-19. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Kamal Gupta, Chief Operating Officer and Mr. Amol Vaidya, Director Operations, Global Schools Foundation.
The little ones of GIIS Dubai came to the big stage for the first time, and they spread their magic, captivating one and all!&nbsp;
Global HUES, the School Annual Day, sparkled with star debutantes from Kindergarten, who enacted the gripping tale of &lsquo;Angus and Kula&rsquo; on the stage. Kula, a young, ambitious lion cub, who lives in the jungle of &lsquo;Bagh&rsquo; with his buddies, befriends Angus and helps him reunite with his family, trapped by the evil &lsquo;Gujumba'. The story unfolded on stage with moments of excitement and adventure, keeping the audience on the edge of the seat. Amongst the many takeaways, the values of friendship, unity and courage were the most powerful ones.
The children of GIIS Dubai found the story relatable to their real life experiences. Beautiful dance and drama performances rolled into one enchanting spectacle called &lsquo;Angus and Kula&rsquo;, was a result of the hard work and enthusiasm put in by the experienced teachers and the talented children. Adding vibrancy was the colourful attire, donned by the young performers.
The Graffiti board lit up with compliments and wishes from the doting parents, motivating the Kindergartners and applauding the school leadership.
Ms. Anjum Ali, Head of Kindergarten extended her vote of thanks to all the guests and expressed the happiness she felt to see everyone cheer for the little ones. The sheer energy that stayed in the air till the end of the programme was a testimony to the roaring success of the event.
