"Victory isnt defined by wins or losses. It is defined by effort. If you can truthfully say, I did all that I could, I gave everything I had, then youre a winner". This is what Tira Bouyani Kittikorn known as Poonky believes as she continues her sports journey in the field of tennis. Poonky is a Class 5 student at GIIS Thailand who expertly balances her academic performance and passion for sports. Poonky started to play tennis at the age of four and engaged in her first open tournament at the age of seven where she gained confidence to train more and become a champion. Poonky does not get discouraged by anything including rigorous training; instead she becomes more determined to achieve her goal and face her opponents. She has won 2 major tournaments in the U-14 category. Her sports career keeps advancing as she keeps playing in different tournaments, mingling with other players for camaraderie and pursuing greater opportunities. Poonky serves as a good example to the younger ones by excelling in both academics and sports.
