Pitter patter showers of rain, pours from the blue sky!
I am all set to splash, sprinkle and play in the cool water
With my colourful protective accessories like raincoat and umbrella!

Global Indian International School Pre Primary students had a Monsoon Day bash with a gala time under the rain showers. The raincoats and hoodies looked so cute and they were all enjoying to the fullest. The small umbrellas looked so pretty and covered them completely as they stepped out to enjoy the Monsoon. As it is said that dancing in the rain brings out the child in you and when the tiny tots of the Nursery and Kindergarten classes are out in the rain then it is absolute euphoria moment for them as much as for the onlookers. The Monsoon Day was celebrated with a miscellany of activities. The Assembly put up by KG1D students recreated the exuberance of Monsoon by the cute kids. They expressed their inability to step out of the home innocently with a song. In contrast, they also shared a lot of happy activities that can be done while staying indoors to cheer themselves. The rain dance song was enacted with a lot of happiness and cherubic expressions.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the Monsoon Day with a lot of engaging activities like making a sequins studded umbrella by the Nursery, sticking colourful umbrella cut outs by the KG 1 on a white paper and making a pop up Monsoon card by the KG2 grade. The GIIS campus had a beautiful backdrop to epitomise the Monsoon Day. The entire Pre Primary could get a Monsoon photo shoot in the perfect raindrop studded cloudy setting, some holding their multicolour miniature umbrellas while some adorning their rain covers and a million dollar smile! The magic of the children changed the myth of a gloomy monsoon to a stylish rainbow sailing experience!
