Meet the Mixed Martial Arts Young Practitioner from GIIS, Bangalore Campus

Sports, Health and Fitness excellence is a very vital part in every student’s school life and every GIISian with an aim to emphasize on the need for physical fitness and honing the sporting skills. There are so many sports activities offered that every student will definitely make friends with sports and some may even choose to seek special training to excel in special sports, out of sheer interest and also as a hobby.

Aditri Srinivasan of GIIS Bangalore has shown that where there is a will there is the best way to seek the goal to excel. This cute, cherubic and active student of Grade 1, who is six years of age, is a regular martial arts practitioner who has a special interest in this area. She is calm and a very good learner when it comes to academics or sports.  It is amazing to see her like this form of martial arts which is a unique form of Martial Arts, which is a blend of many other combat sports like Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and judo. This is one of those new age health centric activities that help the children increase their activeness at school, boost up the energy level also the power of concentration. Her parents identified her fascination for activities involving strength and they truly believe that MMA would be one of the best ways to nurture her fitness level and also enhance her stamina. She is good in academics as well and this feat adds a confident halo to her personality at this tender age. Her recent feature in the Economic Times is indeed an achievement and a beginning of the accolades awaiting her as she excels in this form of martial arts.
