When you ask any GIISian about their grandparent, you can see their eyes sparkle and words pouring out in praise. It is said that the grandparents’ love and affection are the best blessings that a child can ever receive in his or her lifetime. The Grandparents Day at Global Indian International School for Pre-Primary and Primary classes was a mesmerizing event for the grandparents who had come with a big smile.

The small children of the Pre-Primary sections were pouring out their love by waving their hands the moment they say their beloved grandparents in the Assembly room. It was so cute to see the children sing and dance in praise of their much older best friends at home. Grandparents of the young kids were  highly enthusiastic as they participated in the games organized by the teachers of the Pre-Primary. The little kids cheered for their respective grand-dad and grand-mom as they participated in the fun games. All the winners were honoured with beautiful saplings.

We always see our students perform on stage. This time it was the turn to watch the spirited grandparents of the Primary school students show their magic. They effortlessly participated in Antakshari, games, spontaneous group dance on the stage while standing along with their grandchildren. The Grandparents were pleased to enjoy the wonderful programme organized by the Primary teachers. It was as though they were expressing their happiness to get back to school times with the same vibrant energy level. The winners were presented with saplings as a token of love from GIIS.

Age is merely a number for the lovely and vibrant the grandparents of GIISians!
