GIIS students use video conference for knowledge-exchange session

A wonderful opportunity to experience latest technologies like video conferencing adds a new dimension to the learning environment. Blogging was initiated and became the point of discussion between students of class 5 from GIIS Balestier Campus and their counterparts in GIIS Whitefield Campus, Bangalore on January 17, 2014.

In the session of video conference, the students exchanged views and posted comments and information on the impact of social media in Singapore and other countries made for an enriching learning experience. Strategies and activities for @aps@Waste Management@aps@ was also a part of the discussion. GIIS students interacted with their peers and shared information about the educational facilities available in their respective campuses.

Video conferencing provides students with the opportunity to learn by participating in two-way communication forums. GIIS introduced video conferencing for its students worldwide so that students from all GIIS campuses can come together to learn about one another and are able to explore, communicate, analyse and share information and ideas with one another.
