The props were all very impressive and resonated the theme perfectly.

The Nursery children created a Disney wonderland on stage, with an amazing ‘fashion show’. They came in pairs, all dressed up as the popular fairy tale and animated and characters from Disney and Pixar that children are fond of. The characters they represented were Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, Ariel and Prince Eric, Woody and Jessy from Toy Story, Red Riding Hood and big wolf, Belle and the Prince, Pocahontas and John Smith, Esmeralda and Captain Phoebus, Kate and Robin Hood, Snow White and Prince Charming, Jasmine and Aladdin, Princess Aurora and Prince Philip, Tinkerbell and Peter Pan, Goldilocks and the bears. The children were stylish and wore perfect attires. They looked super cute as they walked up the ramp and did candid gestures pertaining to the character that they represented, with confidence.  The parents and the special guests for the evening, were happy and amazed to see the cute little models from Nursery displaying some trendsetting fashions.

The KG 1 and KG 2 students took the audience by charm, with an interesting journey to narrate the ‘Story of Music’ and the origin or various musical instruments. They showcased the Tambourine in a dance, showed how music could bring rain, did dance performances to the sound of guitars strumming and dance performance on the instrument- magical musical drums. The children said that music is an international language and danced using the various instruments such as trumpet, maracas, keyboards, cymbals, harmonica or mouth organ and bamboo flute. The grand musical story was a treat for the audience and brought in the wonderful instruments on-stage with the tale of uniqueness that they are popular for, around the world.

Ms. Preetha D’Mello (Head Mistress) - “Practice makes one perfect. This old proverb tells us that if an activity is practiced often enough, you will eventually master it. The young students of GIIS Bangalore Pre Primary perfected their moves to enthral the audience.”
