With a jingle of bells, Santa Claus made his first stop at GIIS Balestier Campus on November 30, 2012 to bring Christmas cheers to all the students. Kindergarteners and Primary children came together for a special morning assembly which sparked the spirit to last the whole day. A unique Christmas tree bearing the hand print of every kindergartener stood tall as a symbol of love on the stage as the story behind the birth of Jesus Christ unravelled with a brilliant enactment by Class 3C students. Timeless Christmas carols rendered by the school choir and Nursery children pepped up the affair. A Christmas without the ever-popular Santa is unimaginable! Santas bells rang loud and clear as he made his appearance before the smitten children in the auditorium. The true joy and love of Christmas was certainly not lost on the children.
