GIIS Balestiers brand new eco-garden

It was once just a patch of bare land. But with a spark of imagination, much inspiration and many drops of perspiration it has been transformed into GIIS Balestiers very own Eco Garden. The schools Eco cradle houses four different sections namely Butterfly garden, which provides students with endless fun and fascination, The Fruits and Veggies plot, where students grow and nurture a startling array of vegetables and fruits, The Herb and spice garden, which is home to traditional plants and the DIY section where students have the opportunity to plant and experiment with their own flora and fauna. The garden also multi functions as a classroom to our inquisitive students. The garden has proved to be a platform for them to enrich, experiment and enjoy!

Colourful eye-catching 3D sculptures of birds, animals, insects, reptiles made of waste materials by enthusiastic parents have enhanced the beauty of the garden.
