At Global Indian International School, it is always ‘By the students, of the students, and for the students.’

The wait for the announcement of the school leaders is finally over and our fleet of student council has taken the charge for their duties too. The student leaders who are elected by the other students were handed over their badges and sashes by the Principal at the Investiture Ceremony held in the school. The team of leaders comprises House Captains, House Vice-Captains, School Sports Captain, Sports Vice-Captain, and the School Head Boy/Girl.

On the Investiture Ceremony, parents of the elected students were also invited to witness this their wards felicitation and encourage them to fulfil their duties as school leaders.

With a pledge to work for the betterment of the school and be a role model for other students, the members of the student council took the oath in the presence of their parents, the school, the teachers, and the staff. They were excited and felt proud when the Principal pinned the badges on their school uniforms and put the sashes around them!

The school has four Houses namely - Hibiscus, Orchid, Sunflower, and Chrysanthemum. The House Captains and Vice-Captains will now take charge of their respective Houses and work in collaboration with their House members (students) all year round to emerge winners in all the House activities. This will be in tune with the school Head Boy/Girl, Sports Captain and Vice-Captain for their contribution in the school activities, competitions and initiatives.

The student leaders will also work to maintain and carry on the school tradition and help the school with their knowledge, leadership skills, and talent to achieve milestones.
