Three years ago, in March 2014, the Global Indian International School (GIIS) Ahmedabad campus was inaugurated by Pirojsha Godrej, CEO & MD of Godrej; Atul Temurnikar, Chairman Global Schools Foundation; Rajeev Katyal, Country Director GIIS and Caesar D’Silva, Principal GIIS Ahmedabad.

All the students, teachers and staff were taken three years back through the glimpses of the campus right from its foundation stone laying ceremony to welcoming the very first batch of students with ‘tilak’ to all the picnics, classroom activities, campus night out, winning the first Global Student Exchange (GSE) competition and all the moments spent at the campus.

Three years on, and GIIS Ahmedabad has over 1,000 students on board and 120 teachers and staff. “The journey has been tremendous for all of us as we have seen the school being built from scratch. GIIS believes in holistic development of its students and we are proud to mold our children in to confident, bright, smart, hard-working, honest and disciplined individuals,” said Caesar D’Silva, Principal GIIS Ahmedabad. A huge cake was cut to celebrate the moment and students put up some adorable stage performances, and also welcomed the students as they begin their new academic session for the year 2017-18.
