“Wishing you all a great future ahead. Keep soaring high, making us proud.” GIIS Abu Dhabi congratulates all its little graduates.

The first Pre-primary Graduation Day of GIIS Abu Dhabi was celebrated on Thursday 24 March 2016 with much ado. The teachers of Pre-primary section were happy and proud to see their little ones get ready for formal schooling. It was a day of pride, happiness, and achievements. Every student received the certificate of honour for all that they had learnt and done in the past year. Graduation for pre-primary becomes even more special when those tiny tots come with full enthusiasm and verve, to enter a new phase of their academic lives.

The event witnessed parents coming in numbers to see their child being felicitated. The program commenced with recital from the Holy Quran followed by our school prayer, UAE National Anthem and Indian National Anthem. Little Samruddhi of KG2-A welcomed everyone to the Graduation Ceremony. Her heart-warming speech was followed by a melodious welcome song, sung by the Kindergarten Choir, which was received with a loud round of applause from the audience.

The youngest batch of students from KG1, as a tribute to KG2 students, enacted ‘A Typical Day at GIIS.’ The skit provided an insight to the parents into the fun-filled learning environment at GIIS, which is full of happy learners. The performance of the KG1 students was greatly appreciated and the effort put in by the respective teachers and students was commendable.

A short video that captured the joyous moments of KG2 students and teachers was a sneak-peek into the entire academic year. There were glimpses of children sharing their special moments spent in classroom, during activities and while playing, and enjoying themselves thoroughly. The audience watched spell-bound, the memories of the year that passed by.

Finally, the students were awarded their Graduation Certificates by Mr. Amol Vaidya, Director Operations and Mr. Ramesh Mudgal, Principal GIIS Abu Dhabi. All the little graduates were addressed by a word of adulation, specifying qualities that he or she possessed. This small gesture was a parting gift from all the class teachers to their students.

Mr. Ramesh Mudgal thanked the parents for their continuous support and urged them to work together with the school, to help students achieve their potential. The program ended with the Vote Of Thanks by little Anushka of KG2-C.
